how is all started
It all started because I was having a career crisis, funnily enough. And looking back, photography was always in front of my face. I always took the time to take photos, I always looked at other photographers images to see how I can take better photos for my Instagram account (i.e. research), I always looked for good lighting, and I always had an eye for detail.
Long story short, it is never too late to change your career. It is never too late to discover new things that you love.
So after I discovered this passion, I wanted go give it a 'trial run' before buying photography equipment (cause let's face it, photography equipment is definitely not cheap). I enrolled in an online course and started to learn more about the basics of photography. Taking my camera everywhere I go, I started enhancing my knowledge on photography techniques with constant research, enhancing my eye for detail, getting familiar with editing software, and so on.
Seeing myself enjoying and loving photography (from the research part till the post-processing), I decided to look for another course, which was more of a hands-on course here in Malta. I joined the MIPP (Malta Institute of Professional Photography) and enrolled for the Still Image Award course. I successfully passed the course with a Distinction.
Later on, I took another course specified on Portraiture Photography using studio lights.
